HTC Touch takes on the iPhone

Other than the prior Operating Systems that HTC has come out with, is there anything else that the Touch has that is superior than the iPhone? I mean to say other than slight differences in the gigabyte hard drives, and the battery life, is there anything that the Touch has the over shadows the iPhone? Is the touch going to be primarily for all adults and for recreation like the iPhone, or for the business officials like other Smart Phones? I have limited experience with Smart Phones, and I personally don’t want the first generation iPhone due to the glitches, and the second generation typically has most of the kinks worked out, this is one reason why I personally don’t have the Windows Vista OS yet. I happened to notice that iPhone, is getting a lot of publicity and is advertising, while today was the first day I have heard about the Touch phone. Any particular reason of lack of advertising, or they want to keep in known to a few certain groups?

Just ordered one and can't wait to use it. When I first sawthe i-Phone ads I was like OMG! But having been an avid SmartPhone user for the past few years, (MPX200 and 220) it's hard for me to switch OS'. I've used 512MB and most currently a 1GB storage card for my music, videos and photos, and thats always more then enough. I work out with my phone which curently holds 340 songs and videos combined, more then enough for constant rotation. 8GB might be over kill for me. i-Phone looks very appealing but SmartPhone is the way to go! If you want a REAL phone that is... ;)

Well i think HTC Touch rocks... not the way it looks but the way it serves you like customizable today screen & ofcource the big one u can install additional applications of your need of any kind. while in Iphone u can't (the major drawback of iphone). If HTC improves some RAM (insted of 64 Provide 128 and a bit higher processor) than HTC can simply defeats Iphone market

yes the iphone is just like having a beautiful girlfriend, but she only exits on a picture frame... only two pixel and it does not record video and AT$T has it... hey i do not think so...

i have bouth iPhone and Touch devices and i by far prefer using my touch it delivers much more freedom and and many more possibilities to what you can do when your on the run :)
