um, AT&T and tmobile use 3g... sprint doesn't... Sprint and Verizon use EVDO for their high speed network.

I'm very tempted by this device. In fact, I thought I had it narrowed down to this or the Blackberry Curve, until Apple announced they were opening up the iPhone to 3rd-party app development.

Still, I'm not excited by the prospect of shipping my cell phone off for a routine battery swap, so, this one's on my list of the top three candidates.

Thank goodness it's on the Sprint network! There EVDO Broadband blows the doors off of the AT&T or T-Mobile networks and is as fast and maybe more available than Verizon's EVDO network.

With increased data rates for these Palm Centros, it is better to have an iPhone instead. $99 price is deceiving, Sprint has increased the data rate, the monthly bill runs almost to $80 a month.

Sprints high speed data services are truly superior.
My HTC Mogul Smartphone connects to the internet at broad band speeds 2MBS+, also WiFi, and BlueTooth. Life changes things change , Sprint is improving customer service but in the meantime it is still the best for Hi Speed services.

Love Palm, hate Sprint. However, I ordered one and activated Sprint service to give it a try. Will keep my existing provider, but see if the phone is worth the Sprint headache is the long term. I usually have good luck with your views.

On the camera.... Pixel count is not an indicator of picture quality in and of itself anymore than horsepower by itself is an indicator of how fast a car can go. Unless there's a decent lens and such, the pixel count means nothing... In short, if you're paying for a pumped up pixel count, but getting the cheapest lens they can find when they build the cameraphone, you're wasting money. 1.3 Megapixels can actually take a decent picture (not for 8x10, but fine for smaller pictures) if the rest of the camera bits are up to snuff... It'll just look like it was taken with 800 ISO film.

i have this phone, it is just an overall great phone. sprint is really improving and sprint tv is great. internet is very fast. and well i just love everything about this phone.
